Patricia Griswold has the experience, both professionally and regionally, to successfully help you buy or sell your business today. Prior to becoming a First Choice Business Broker, Patricia earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master Certificate in Project Management. Patricia has held several Senior Business Management for fortune 500 Companies. Patricia is also an entrepreneur for over 15 years who has owned several tax and insurance offices in the Richmond/Tri-Cities area, where she has both purchased and sold businesses. Native to Greater Richmond, Patricia has a deeper understanding of the area from an entrepreneurial and citizen perspective that others would not.

After growing up in a military family and finally settling in the Hampton Roads area, William (Bill) Griswold started his career in retail sales. That new beginning led to him purchasing his first business while in college. Through time, dedication and Bill’s leadership, his company developed into one of the largest stainless-steel manufacturing companies on the east coast.

After selling it and moving to the Richmond area and marrying his wife Patricia. Bill then started working with a handful of Fortune 500 companies; Motorola, Security Link and ADT in their commercial sales departments.

Having these experiences sparked several successful business ventures for Bill, including graphic design, insurance brokerage and tax preparation businesses-- some they still run today. Through having experiences in multiple facets of business, Bill has developed a keen understanding of the opportunities and challenges that come with buying and selling companies. Through first-hand, seasoned comprehension of the business world, Bill knows how important it is to have the knowledge, professionalism and confidentiality that First Choice Business Brokers brings to the table.

In Bill’s free time, he can be found with his wife either hanging out at the beach or fishing on his boat.
